GLB Eyewear
Privacy notice.
Last updated 26 October 2026
The short version. If you join the Collection II list, we keep your email address so we can tell you when Collection II, or the colourway you picked, is available. That is all we use it for. We don't sell it, we don't share it for anyone else's marketing, and this site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
Who we are
This website is run by GLB Eyewear ("we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described here. The easiest way to reach us about your data is a message to @glbeyewear on Instagram.
What we collect
- Your email address.
- The frame or colourway you said you were waiting for, if you chose one.
- Which form you used (for example, the home page or a product page) and when you signed up.
We don't ask for your name, address, phone number or payment details, and we never buy or receive lists of email addresses from anyone else.
Why we use it, and the lawful basis
We use your email address only to tell you when Collection II, or the frame you asked about, is available. Our lawful basis is your consent (UK GDPR, Article 6(1)(a)), which you give by joining the list. You can withdraw it at any time by asking us to remove you, and we will.
Where it is kept
Sign-ups are stored in a database run for us by Supabase, on servers in London. The website is hosted by Vercel, which processes technical information such as your IP address so it can deliver the pages and protect the service from abuse. Both act only on our instructions.
To display the site, your browser also loads fonts from Google Fonts and code libraries from cdnjs (Cloudflare) and jsDelivr. Like any web request, this shares your IP address and basic browser details with those services so they can send the files.
Cookies and analytics
This site doesn't set cookies. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits; it works without cookies and doesn't identify you or follow you to other sites.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you ask us to remove it, or until twelve months after Collection II launches, whichever comes first. After that it is deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Just message us; we will respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Changes
If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
